A Busy Weekend on the Flint with the Planet X Family
The Planet X Family is headed back to downtown Albany for a full weekend with the Flint River Entertainment Complex! DJ Planet X will be the DJ and emcee for Friday night’s Fridays on the Flint and Saturday morning’s Pink Run 5K.
Friday, October 2: Fridays on the Flint
Start the weekend at Veterans Park Amphitheatre from 6–9 p.m. with live music from the Macon Music Revue. This free, family friendly evening also features food trucks, local vendors, outdoor demos, community conservation partners, and a kids’ zone.
Guests can enjoy a specialty beer and wine tasting for $15, which includes 10 sample pours in a collectible glass. The event is presented by Albany Beverage Company, and a clear bag policy will be in effect.
Saturday, October 3: Pink Run 5K
We’ll be back at Veterans Park Amphitheatre Saturday morning to kick off the Flint River Entertainment Complex’s 2026 5K Run and Walk Series. The Pink Run, presented by Phoebe, starts at 9 a.m. at 100 W. Oglethorpe Boulevard. Come run, walk, or cheer everyone on as the community gathers for a great cause.
The series continues with two more races:
Monster Dash — Saturday, October 24, presented by Georgia’s Own Credit Union
Turkey Trot — Saturday, November 21, presented by CBS 4 South Georgia TV
Registration is $30 for a single event or $75 for the full series.
