Summer nights in Downtown Albany are about to get even better!

Fridays on the Flint returns on Friday, August 7, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Veterans Park Amphitheatre for one of the biggest community gatherings of the season. Admission is FREE, making it the perfect way to spend an evening with family and friends.

This month’s BBQ & Brews theme is packed with incredible food, refreshing beverages, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Planet X Industries is proud to once again be part of this amazing community event. DJ Planet X will be serving as the official DJ and event host, keeping the energy high all evening with music, announcements, and interactive entertainment while welcoming everyone to another unforgettable Fridays on the Flint experience.

The evening’s featured performance will be by Dirt Road Sports, bringing an exciting live show to the Veterans Park Amphitheatre stage.

❤️ Welcoming Project Safe Haven

We’re especially excited to welcome Project Safe Haven to this month’s event. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the City of Albany, Dougherty County, and the Albany Police Department, an even larger crowd is expected as this outstanding community initiative joins the celebration.

If you’re a food truck or arts & crafts vendor planning to attend, be sure to notify organizers by Friday, July 31 so you can be included on the official vendor list.

All food trucks are encouraged to participate.

Participants in the sampling event will receive food sampling tickets. Vendors participating should be prepared to collect tickets throughout the evening. Each redeemed ticket is worth $5.
