Celebrate America’s 250th in Downtown Americus with an Incredible Drone Show!

Get ready for an unforgettable evening as Americus Celebrates America debuts in beautiful Rylander Park in Historic Downtown Americus on Thursday, July 2, 2026. This first-ever Fourth of July celebration hosted by the City of Americus promises to be an exciting evening filled with live entertainment, local vendors, delicious food, and a spectacular drone light show honoring America’s 250th Anniversary.

The festivities begin at 5:30 PM as DJ Planet X takes the stage to kick off the celebration. Bringing an energetic mix of today’s hits, classics, and patriotic favorites, DJ Planet X will keep the crowd entertained while building excitement for an unforgettable evening celebrating 250 years of America.

At 7:00 PM, our good friends The Essence Band will take the stage to keep the celebration going with an incredible live performance that is sure to have everyone dancing and singing along.

As darkness falls, look to the skies for an amazing synchronized drone show, featuring stunning aerial displays choreographed to music. Rylander Park offers the best viewing location, so plan to arrive early to enjoy all of the entertainment and secure a great spot.
